In this interview with Dr Nicholas Beecroft, Neil explains the theory and sets out his observations of the current stage of the generational cycle during this “Fourth Turning” crisis period. He describes the interactions between all the various generations and predicts how the future in areas as diverse as security, immigration, family life and spiritual values. He discusses the implications for policy makers, investors and strategists as well as describing the leadership context, especially for the Boomers, Gen X and Millennial Generations. Neil says that whilst East Asia is in synch with Western Generations, the Islamic world is slightly out of synch which has huge implications for understanding current and future geopolitics. He gives some specific consulting advice for this project, the Future of Western Civilisation.
